INTRODUCTION ABOUT RELENT COLD SYRUPRELENT COLD SYRUP is a combination of Phenylephrine and Chlorpheniramine which belongs to the group of medicines called Nasal decongestants and Antihistamines respectively. It is used to relieve nasal and sinus congestion, allergic symptoms of the nose or throat due to upper respiratory tract allergies, sinus pain and headache. Also, it is used adjunctly with antibacterials to manage sinusitis (inflammation of the tissue lining the sinuses), tonsillitis (inflammation of the tonsils) and otitis media (middle ear infection). Before giving RELENT COLD SYRUP to your child, inform child’s doctor if your child has kidney, liver or heart problems, diabetes, fits or severely raised blood pressure. RELENT COLD SYRUP is not recommended for use in pregnant or breast-feeding women and elderly patients as it is used only in children. The most common side effects of RELENT COLD SYRUP are nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, dizziness and tiredness. Consult your child’s doctor if any of the side effects worsen.
